TOR     1     2     0     0     0     0     0     0     0         3     6       1

Yankees                   IP    H    R    ER    BB     SO      HR    ERA
Tanaka, M              7.0    6    3       2     0        8          1      2.57
Thornton(H, 1)    0.2    0    0       0    0         1          0     0.00

Robertson, D        1.0    0    0      0     0        0          0      0.00

See how Tanaka settled down after the first two innings!! It proves his makeup that we talked about in Season Preview.🙂

Game 2:

Blue Jays 4, Yankees 0

NY Yankees    AB    R    H    RBI    BB    SO
Ellsbury, CF    5       0    3         0     0        1
Jeter, SS            2      0    0         0     2         1
Beltran, RF      4      0    0          0    0         1
McCann, DH    4      0    0         0    0         1
Soriano, A,      4      0    0         0    0         1
Johnson, K,     4      0    0        0     0         1
Cervelli, C        3      0     2       0     0         0
Solarte, 3B       3     0     2       0     0          1
Anna, 2B           2     0    0       0     0          2
a-Roberts, B    1     0    0        0     1          0

Ellsbury and Solarte continued their hot streaks but the noodle bats in the middle of the lineup were still struggling~ ( ̄ c ̄)y▂ξ

NY Yankees         IP     H    R    ER   BB    SO   HR    ERA
Pineda(L, 0-1)    6.0    5    1          0        5       0       1.50
Nuno                      0.0    0   0      0    1        0       0        0.00
Phelps, D               2.0    3   3       3    0       3       2        10.80

Pineda had such a strong and exciting outing after a two-year loss due to the pitcher kiss-death injury torn labrum…It is hard NOT TO DREAM on him now! XD~ Phleps, the other other hand, appeared completely lost again. He just couldn’t find the rhythm like did in Spring Training…

Game 3:

Yankees 6, Blue Jays 4

NY Yankees            IP       H    R    ER   BB    SO  HR
Sabathia(W, 1-1)    6.0    7    4          0       6       1
Warren(H, 2)            1.0   0    0      0    0       0       0
Kelley(H, 2)              1.0   1     0      0    0       0       0
Robertson, D(S, 2)  1.0   1    0      0    1       0       0

C.C had a better game but he was still apparently struggling somewhat. Hope he’ll find his groove in the 3rd game or sooner!
